English Majolica

English Majolica as we know it today was first produced by Herbert Minton in England in 1849. It became very popular between 1849 and 1885, when its popularity began to wane. By the early 1900's, the production of Majolica was minimal.

CARA Antiques carries many examples of work by Wedgewood, Minton, George Jones, Worcester, and other major English and European pottery houses.
